A City Centre EV Charging Hub for Cambridge

Connected Kerb, Cambridge City Centre.

Our Scope: Install & commission 38 EV fast chargers In a central Cambridge public multi storey car park.

We helped to transform the entire basement of one of Cambridges city centre multi storey car parks into an EV charging hub allowing visitors & local residents to recharge whilst they shop & dine in central Cambridge.

This project presented us with many challenges to overcome. Not least introducing the huge amount of additional power required to serve the new EV chargers..

Dimming down the lights at Westfield to save energy.

Our Scope: A full lighting upgrade complete with energy saving controls & presence detection.

Rising energy costs in recent years has forced businesses large & small to reduce their energy usage. We recently completed a hugely succesful lighting upgrade programme in one of the UK's largest retail car parks providing our customer with excellent energy savings & improved aesthetics.

Westfield Roof Lighting Upgrade

A continuation of our earlier lighting upgrade works at the Centre. The lighting on the roof area was in desperate need of upgrading & our relationship with the centre allowed us to tender, win & successfully deliver this project.

The new lighting installation is energy efficient & provides huge energy savings for the customer.

Boots store lighting upgrade

Our Scope: Spec, supply remodel & install entire store & staff area lighting.

One of London's larger Boots Opticians stores, The existing  fluorescent & metal halide lighting was failing & in poor condition. With our knowledge & expertise we were able to recommend new efficient LED models with an improved lighting scheme.

Commercial lighting control & monitoring system upgrade 

Proud to be working in partnership with world leader in lighting technology Signify Lighting (Formerly Philips).

Our Scope: Upgrade numerous lighting control panels within a large commercial facility to bring an ageing installation up to current specification.

Westfield back of house lighting lighting replacement

Our Scope: Supply, Install & commission new LED lighting & emergency lighting for the back of house corridors. 

With the retail centre now 10 years old, the back of house lighting, including essential emergency lighting systems are now in need of replacement.  Nu Electrics Ltd has recently completed phase 1 of this upgrade programme which will eventually see all of the back of house lighting replaced for modern efficient LED's & intelligent self testing emergency lighting.

West Kensington development Temporary site electrics

Our scope: Design, deliver & maintain full temporary electrical service to this 43 apartment development. Including initial mains distribution, site lighting, power, & construction plant supplies. Electrical logistical support, welfare facilities, emergency cover, new facilities temporary power supplies supplies for commissioning purposes.

3 new smart city apartments in this former office block located in the heart of Chiswick, West London, for Cardiff based contractor Town & Counties.

Our scope was the full electrical & services wiring to the flats. Communal power, lighting, sub mains, TV & satellite distribution & emergency lighting.

5 new modern loft apartments in Ashford Middlesex for London & District properties Limited.
